Why not all throw a lemon on the pitch before the match is about to kick off? Then delay the kickoff because of lemons on the pitch? That would make the media.

Now that would be entertaining. You only need a few hundred thrown on to the pitch to really hold up the game.

You cannot advocate anything illegal (going on the pitch etc) or any kind of violence or intimidation on this site. If it comes to it this and any other thread / post will be deleted.
Read the RULES people. This is NOT facebook or the bbc. This is OVF.

Agreed to an extent. But the point of the actions are that they are NON-VIOLENT. But to keep OVF safe, the process could work like this.
1. Someone with an idea nominates themselves as co-ordinator for a direct action.
2. The co-ordinator creates a new post calling for volunteers. The post should include vague details:
a. Where? The action is to take place inside or outside the ground.
b. When? On a match day or non-match day?
c. How Many? How many volunteers are required for an action to be "GO". Eg stinks bombs needs just two or three. Chains and goals posts needs 15. Lemons need say 100.
d. Risk? What are peoples risks in taking part in the action (people have different tolerances to risk). For example, lemons is risk of ejection from the ground. Stink bombs is very low - who would know? Goalposts is risk of arrest and ban.
If sufficient people volunteer for the action by reply to the post, the co-ordinator should then take the discussions for action away from OVF (or via private message) so as to maintain secrecy and not to get OVF into trouble. The action can then be organised/co-ordinated by the action leader. Exact times etc etc discussed.

An idea for an action for those most risk averse, An air-raid during the next home game like so
airads.blogspot.com/2011/11/w...ad-10-men.htmlwith a suitable message to the board and the non-engaged fans.
Would require no input from volunteers other than money.

Sorry to sound draconian but Pete wasn't making a point for debate. We are saying ovf doesn't want any illegal activities (no matter how non violent) on here. We are in essence a privately owned website and to protect ourselves that is our decision. Like everything else on here you can either agree with our decisions or go elsewhere. But ultimately we could be liable of aiding and assisting if god forbid a non violent protest spiralled out of control and we are not prepared to do that.
While we appreciate it probably won't, with respect, ovf has more to lose if things do kick off so I'd ask you to take this topic off ovf.
