As per the title. Brilliant idea. Fill the pitch with lemons just as the team's are about to kick off. The result delay to the game will surely get some exposure in the mainstream national media.
Whos up for it?

Anyone know the best way to smuggle a Lemon past the stewards?
I can think of one way, but it might be going above and beyond the call of duty.

I think tennis balls are better and look like lemons anyway. four for a quid at any pound shop and less likely to hurt.

But lemons are very very symbolic of our dear Perry, although i do I take your point about causing harm. I've never been hit by a lemon, but I suppose they could come keen. Pointy ends and all.
Would be a call for the action co-ordinator to make I guess.
Welcome to PVVF by the way! Vive la revolution.

lemons is a great idea and i hope one or maybe more is aimed pd Focus focus. The aim would be to delay kick-off by covering the playing surface in as many lemons as possible. Dont waste them on Deakin, save a stink bomb for him. How many lemons would it take for the protest to be meaningful in delaying kickoff? I reckon at least 200 for a great visual impact. Thats 100 protestors x 2 lemons each. With that number, expulsion from the ground would be very difficult for the authorities to manage. They would probably have to just let it go.

Gotta be careful with the whole missile throwing thing, AVIM - news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/m/millwall/9402804.stmIt's a great idea, but IMO it has to the potential to make things kick off and cause arguments between fans in the stands which is not what we want. Not advocating anything or owt but judging by how shite the stewards were dealing with the pitch invaders after the Shrews game last season and the streaker againsnt Accy, I don't think people would encounter much resistance if they decided to decorate the pitch.

I agree to a certain extent. I think to be effective it would need to have sufficient co-ordinated volume to be obviously a form of protest and not something more sinister such as trying to deliberately hit a linesman. Thats why I think its useful for a co-ordinator to organise each action to ensure before it goes ahead there are sufficient people signed up. I do think any form of protest is likely to meet some resistance from other fans, but surely now most people are on the same page with regards to Deakin and his chum? Either way, omelettes and eggs and all that.

I'd agree on the anti-board front, if the OVF poll is anything to go by it's a near white wash.
I'm not sure about the lemon thing. I really want it to happen to show the 'board' to the opposition to them and to catch national attention, but I also don't want to create a scenario where fans might start arguing with each other in the ground; There was enough of that shit at Chesterfield away.
Perhaps bombarding the main entrance and reception before/during/after the game with Lemons? Band together and raise a few quid, get a couple of hundred KG's of Lemons from Makro or somewhere, hand them out to the protestors and go mental?
